From hood to healing—breaking stereotypes one laugh at time! There weren't many Black vegans where I came from, but baby, I brought the seasoning and the spirituality. I'm proof that you can heal, laugh, and slay soul food—all without the soul of an animal.
My HEALarious journey as a Black millennial vegan started with a side of greens and a sprinkle of “What the kale?!” From illness to intentional eating, I turned my plate—and my life—into a punchline worth sharing. Who knew going vegan could taste and sound this good?
A little sage, a lot of sarcasm, and a soul that chooses to laugh at petty sh%t bcuz Joy Is My Superpower. I’m a chakras-and-chuckles kind of mama, walking in purpose with a prayer in one hand and a punchline in the other.
What better place to serve up comedy than where the food matches the healing? We’re turning vegan restaurants into vegan Comedy clubs—where you can digest your greens and your giggles. We’re eating good and laughing better!
